hey just set up you plugin works great, and the design is much better than the others Ive tried, the other ones left justify the thumbnails, I like the spaced out centered ones you have.

but…just wondering about the search it uses to pull related posts, because one thing the other plugs did was pull by tag or keywords, but on this one, none of my series posts are getting returned as related, ie. Blog posts in a series, Blog News 1, Blog News 2, Blog News 3

Same here, mine is now just showing the posts in order and not relating them to each other at all… I’m sure there was a tick box for “must have at least one tag in common” but can’t see it now…?

Correction

Just took a look at the code today. Noticed you’re using id=”igit_*” when you probably meant to use class=”igit_*”, as an id for a dom element should be unique per page. For example, you use: more than once and it should be . This would change your css from #igit_title to .igit_title. I tested it and works as expected. Modern browsers will probably render your css declarations correctly, but multiple ids would confuse most javascript libraries and break HTML validation.

Great Plugin but having a bit of a hair pulling experience. The related posts are showing in all posts, including custom post types which I have displayed in widget areas in the sidebar. I am looking for the code to be able to tell this plugin NOT show in and widgets and cannot seem to find any class to specify. (Maybe the same issue as mentioned in the post regarding finding div id but no class?). I am able to get the .igit_relpost class to not show but that just leaves a big space where the igit_rpwt_css is. Please help.

Hi Ankur, I’ve been using your plugin for quite some time, but in the past couple of days, my server stats show that your plugin is consuming MASSIVE CPU usage… more than any other script or page in my site… is this normal? I just upgraded to wordpress 3.3… could this be an issue?

I have some of my administrative pages (contact us, etc.) as posts in the General category. I have excluded them as a category to display in the Settings. But they do display as related posts with the Title and no image. Also, on page refreshes I will occasionally also see the post from the current page also display as a related post.

How could this be happening? What can I check or change?

I have tried deactivating the plug-in, and re-activating. I have also deleted and then re-installed the plug-in. Also, I should say that on some of the posts it works absolutely fine, but on others it displays the General category posts. Thanks again.
