google gmail Today’s Gmail Vowel Outage – Gmail Looks Different – Gmail April FoolHello Friends, when you open Gmail then you will feel that it is looking different because all the vowels are missing from that Gmail. Google explains this thing on their official blog that during routine maintenance at one of our data centers, the front end web servers in that particular data center started failing to render the letter ‘a’ for a subset of users. As error rates escalated, the strain spread to other data centers. We worked quickly to avoid a cascading failure of the entire alphabet by implementing a stopgap solution that limited the damage to the letters ‘a,’ ‘e,’ ‘i,’ ‘o,’ and ‘u.’ As a result, we’re experiencing Gmail’s first temporary vowel outage.
