Be Careful – Twitter New Phishing Attack “You’re On Here?”

Posted by Ankur Gandhi in Twitter

Hello Friends, I am daily using twitter and i am addicted to twitter and as you know Twitter got some security holes and also two phishing attacks before. Today i got one new DM in this some one send me one link and tell me that some one on internet writes about you. I deleted that message and understand that again new phishing attack hits Twitter.

After searching on Twitter I found that so many people got this type of message and tweets also like me. So i just want to tell you that be careful and not to click on that link and if you already clicked on that link then don’t enter your username/password when asking. If you already done this thing then one quick suggestion to you to change your password soon. Otherwise your account will be hacked in sometime.

Twitter recently took steps to combat phishing by introducing its Twt.tl URL shortener — links sent via DM now appear as “‘twt.tl” links in your email notifications, allowing Twitter to re-route malicious links to a warning page in some cases.

Also please spread this message to your friends and also Retweet this post. So anyonw who get these types of links can protect himself by this type of attack.
