Trick to Download Videos From MegaVideo for Free

Hello Friends, As all of you know about MegaVideo, MegaVideo is a video sharing website run by the creators of Megaupload based in Hong Kong. MegaVideo is one of the 100 most visited website in the world. MegaVideo has various types of online video in its database but MegaVideo is not provide any facility to download videos for free users (means only premium members or membership user can download videos from Megavideo) but here i am giving you one trick by which you can download videos from MegaVideo very easily. To download videos from MegaVideo you mast have Internet Explorer. Now follow the steps shown below to download video from MegaVideo:
1. Open MegaVideo Link in Internet Explorer.

2. After open MegaVideo Link Internet Explorer click on Play button or arrow to play video.

3. Now you can see video is start buffering, now click on stop button. When you click on stop video will continue its buffering so please wait untill all buffering is complete.

4. Once all buffering is completed Go to Tools->Internet Options in Internet Explorer.

5. After that Click on Settings in Temporary Intenet Files section.

6. After click on settings you will see one button “View Files” in dialogue box. Click on View Files.

7. When you click on View Files one window will open which have so mamy files of all extensions, But you will see also one file which have big in size and also don’t have any extension and have big file name, Just copy this file and paste it wherever you want. This is your downloaded video from MegaVideo.

In this way you can download videos from MegaVideo. If you are getting any problem in this trick then comment your problem.

    Just restarting your router will have the same effect. As long as you renew your IP address, you will be able to keep on watching the videos.

    I am using IE 7 and i get a message “the file is being used by another process” while copying the file and also the path is different. The downloaded file is getting saved as a .tmp file.

    try hobocopy…which can copy any files (even if you get errors like ‘file is being used by another process’ in other tools)..

    … j’ai un soucis, je ne comprend pas un mot de ce qui est écrit.
    En fait, je vous conseil de passer par Word ou OpenOffice pour rédiger vos articles afin d’y déceler une majorité de fautes.
    Ensuite, pour ce qui est du sens, je vous laisse apprendre en lisant des livres.

    Pour finir, cette astuce ne fonctionne plus depuis un moment, merci de mettre à jour votre blog.

    Install Download helper addon- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006
    Go to the video on megavideo.com, let it begin to play ,then right-click on anywhere but the video, goto downloadhelper and you will see a .flv file to download, easy peasy.

      downloadhelper is not full to download megavideo movie it’s only 72 minute and It’s not working anymore because I used to download it.

    Me ha funcionado, ya copie el archivo a mi escritorio, sin embargo no puedo ver su extension. le he puesto la extension mpeg, avi, flv, swf, pero con ninguna puedo ver el video. saben en que formato esta para buscar el software para convertirlo??

    Je viens découvrir cette manière de visionner un film sur mégavideo sans coupure .Effectivement il sagit de retrouver le film en mémoire cache comme on peut le faire sur certain site de musique .Le problème est que sauf si on dispose du très haut débit le chargement est trop long..

    1)open movie
    2)stop and let buffering do to the end
    3)turn mozila “work offline”
    4)now you can watch full movie with no problem

    Or you can just use Tunebite to download Megavideo videos, way simpler than looking for the temp files.And also I’m pretty sure that working offline after the video stopped buffering doesn’t work all the time, at least it didn’t work for me when I tried it. Tunebite on the other hand is able to capture and save Megavideo videos in no time.It can also convert the videos I download from Megavideo to avi or 3gp or other formats,this really comes in handy when I need to transfer the videos to my phone.

    Nice one, Me once downloaded youtube videos in this way. Me not used this trick for megavideo, good that you said about this so I can advice someone who will ask me how to download video from Megavideo without using any softwares. I am using Internet Download manager to download the files.

    what if megavideo doesn't buffer….
    it buffers in the start…and after a while, i saw the buffering was finished….
    but when i play it it stops in a specific time….and that what happens…
    i cant download it if it's not fully-buffered, right??
    help…^^

    megavideo is one of the best video sites, just the problem once youve watched 71 mins of video you have to wait for another 52, a way to get around this is to start the video and then pause it straight away, you have to let the video fully buffer, this may take around 5-6mins for a 30 minute video, or up to 40-50mins depending on how long the video is. Once the video has fully buffered, i.e the gray bar has reached the end, keep the internet page open but disconect your computer from the internet and then play the video, this will allow you to watch the full video as it is the megavideo servers that stores your ip address and the time watched, so when disconected from the internet the player wont recieve a message from them to stop at 71 mins :) works about 90% of the time, as some times the player stops at around 5 mins saying you have watched 71, thats the method i use to get around the time limit, but i’m interested to see if anybody knows of any others? or heard of a different way todo it?
